Our itinerary will have to be adjusted to accommodate unpredictable circumstances, example: train breakdown or water level too high in Padas River.
For rafters who wear glasses, we recommend you to get a pair of goggles with prescription, or glasses with a strap, or you can wear the contact lenses if you have (put on the goggles to prevent the water from contact with your lenses).

Pick up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu at 0530hrs – 0600hrs. Then, take approximately 2 hours drive to Beaufort (a small town in Sabah). Along the way, pass through lush paddy fields and beautiful village settlements. From Beaufort town, take about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours train ride to Pangi (starting point). Your adventure journey begins here. Experience “The Last Train of Borneo” – oldest train on the island, it will takes you through the jungle and along the gorge, giving you glimpses of the river and the thrills to come. In between, take a brief stop at Halogilat Station to change to another train before drop by at Rayoh station for you to keep your belongings. Then, follow the same train to to Pangi Station.
As soon as you arrived, light refreshment and sumptuous fruits will be served. Safety briefing will be conducted by professional river guide and rafting gears will be distributed. Get yourself ready. Start rafting from Pangi and proceed through the crashing waves down to Rayoh. You can participate in paddling, have a swim and feel the adventurous body raft at rapid points along the Padas River. Conquer rapids with names like Headhunter, Cobra Point, Washing Machines, Snake House and etc. Witness the untouched nature on the banks of the river and “soak up” the atmosphere.
This adventurous yet fun activity end at Rayoh. Have your well earned lunch. Get yourself dry and change if needed. After lunch, continue with antique train ride from Rayoh to Beaufort and from there, we will transfer you back to your hotel/lodge in Kota Kinabalu. Remember to claim your certificate from us!
