There are 4 Mount Kinabalu Accommodation for all the climbing packages. For instance, before your Mount Kinabalu Climb, you can stay a night at the base of Mount Kinabalu. You may choose to stay at Kinabalu Park, Poring Hotspring, or Kinabalu Pine Resort. Kinabalu Park is the HQ area where all the registration will be done here. All climbers will start their climb from Kinabalu Park via Timpohon Trail. Poring Hotspring is located approximately 45 minutes from Kinabalu Park. Shuttle bus is provided between Kinabalu Park and Poring Hotspring. While Kinabalu Pine Resort is usually for Via Ferrata Climber, which is just 15 minutes away from Kinabalu Park.
Before hiking to the summit during your hiking journey, you will need to stay a night at KM 6 of the journey, which is Panalaban Base Camp. There are 4 Mountain Hut at Panalaban Base Camp, which is Laban Rata Resthouse, Pendant Hut, Panalaban Hostel, and Lemaing Hut. Restaurant is located at Laban Rata Resthouse. Among the 4 mountain hut, Lemaing Hut is the only mountain hut which is strictly open for Malaysian Climbers. The other Mountain Hut is open for all nationalities. Pendant hut is only open for Via Ferrata Climbers who take either Low’s Peak Circuit or Walk The Torq route.
