1) Check in, Check out and request for late check out
- Check-in Time:
i) between 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm
- Check-out Times:
i) Walk The Torq guests – 11:30 am
ii) Low’s Peak Circuit guests – 12:30 pm
- Late Check-out
i) Request for late checkout have to made by 2:30 am on the same day of departure and payment made upon request (minimum RM100)
ii) Approval for late checkout will be subjected to availability.
iii) RM50 will be imposed for every 30min block with a minimum of RM 100 for the first 1 hour.
2) Security of personal belongings
- Guests are responsible to ensure the security of their own belonging.
- Guests are advised to pack their own belongings before the summit climb.
- Guests are required to double check to ensure none of personal belonging left behind before check out.
- Any personal items left behind after check out will be disposed at management’s discretion.
- Pendant Hut cannot be held responsible for any item lost due to guest’s negligence.
3) Quite / Sleeping hours
- Quite hours are imposed from 8 pm to 1:30 am to make sure that all guests have enough rest.
4) Via Ferrata Groups
- The Via Ferrata activities are conducted in a group environment based on the following ratio of trainers to via ferrata climbers:
i) Walk The Torq – 1 trainer to 5 climbers
ii) Low’s Peak Circuit – 1 trainer to 6 climbers
- Different groups of Via Ferrata climbers will be combined to form a group. No private via ferrata guiding services available.
5) Hygiene and cleanliness
- Your personal hygiene and general cleanliness is important to us and to everyone else around you.
> Please make use of sleeping bag liners inside the sleeping bag when in use. If in doubt, please check with the staff on the correct method for using the sleeping bag liners.
> DO NOT eat or bring exposed or open food stuff into the sleeping quarters.
> Please dispose of all waste materials into the waste bins provided.
- Please leave your shoes/footwear and used socks in the shoe area as to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for everyone in the room.
- Please maintain the cleanliness of the sleeping area for your benefit and for the consideration of the other guests.
- Smoking is NOT ALLOWED in Pendant Hut’s areas including guest rooms and public area (lounge, entrance way, washing area…etc). If you really need to smoke, please check with staff on duty for the location of smoking area and the way to dispose of the cigarette butts in an environmentally safe manner.
- Guests are NOT ALLOWED to cook in Pendant Hut or in its immediate vicinity.
- Guests are NOT ALLOWED to put bag or other belonging in others bed even though it’s vacant for security and hygiene purpose.
6) Emergency Procedure
- In the case of an emergency and the emergency bell is sounded, please vacate the premises immediately and gather at the rock area outside Pendant Hut.
