SABAH PARK has officially announced an increment of fee at all Sabah Parks areas on 30 Nov 2022, 12.03pm, which will take effect starting 1 Jan 2023.
The Sabah Parks is the statutory body that oversees Kinabalu Park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Crocker Range Park, Tawau Hills Park, Turtle Islands Park, Pulau Tiga Park, Tun Sakaran Marine Park, Sipadan Island Park, and Tun Mustapha Park.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin said the increase was necessary due to the high operation cost and various expenditures. By making this choice, Sabah Parks will be able to meet its aim of achieving sustainable funding by 2025 while also addressing the rising costs of the park’s operations and management.
This is a decision by Sabah Park and State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister.
